FAQs

Josh Tomalin Documentary Wedding Photographer

Will you travel to our wedding?

Most definitely. I regularly travel all over the UK for weddings, up to the Lake District and down to Devon. All my prices include travel and accommodation within the UK. I love to travel so do contact me for a bespoke quote for your destination wedding.

Where are you based?

I live in the beautiful city of Manchester.

Are you insured?

Yep, I'm fully insured - which many wedding venues will require.

Do you Photoshop your images?

No - I absolutely don't. I'm all about capturing the beauty in real life and nothing annoys me more than photos where people have been photoshopped into store mannequins.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes,  I use sturdy professional cameras and have spares on hand in case anything breaks.

How do we book?

Drop me a line and we can have a chat via email, the phone, coffee if you are coffee people, drinks if you are drinks people. A signed contract and a 20% deposit holds your wedding date.

How long does it take to get our images?

It takes me around two weeks, but no longer than eight weeks to finish editing your images. When they are ready I'll send you a link to a private online gallery where you can download your images and share them with your friends and family. If you are purchasing an album then we can crack on with designing it.

Pricing

I keep my rates as simple as possible. Because life is too short. In 2018 my prices are:

£675 - 6 hour's coverage

£950 - for a day's wedding coverage

£1450 - a day's coverage including an album by the fine people at Folio Albums

A day's coverage includes:

  • Wedding coverage from the bridal preparation to the evening reception - all day, unlimited. When everyone gets drunk and embarrassing is when it gets even more fun.
  • A private online gallery where you can download all of your fully-edited high res images and share them with your friends and family.
  • A minimum of 300 images, I average between 300 and 500. You get all the good ones.
